Offering · Efficiency
Your embedded engineers are scarce, expensive, and mostly busy with work that doesn't differentiate your product: board bring-up, connectivity stacks, update mechanisms, dependency patches. ROSA Foundation carries that layer, so your team's capacity goes back to product.
The mechanism
The scaffolding is identical across every product you build. What you write is specific to yours. That's the entire point.
Your team builds
ROSA Foundation carries, maintained by us
The economics
Reuse is the compounding asset: the foundation is shared, so each new product or variant starts most of the way done.
>95%
reuse across hardware variants. Changes stay contained, variants don't diverge.
up to 75%
lower cost than building and maintaining the foundation in-house. Maintenance is distributed across all platform customers.

Without ROSA, 10 engineers
Ramp-up
1–2 products/yr
Max sustainable portfolio
5–10 products
With ROSA, same 10 engineers
Ramp-up
2–4 products/yr
Max sustainable portfolio
15–25 products
Illustrative, 10-engineer team. Ranges depend on device complexity and similarity to your existing portfolio. Exact numbers come from working through your situation together.
Estimate your savings
Fully loaded estimate: €98k: base plus ~40% for employer contributions, benefits, and overhead
We assume 0.5 FTE of maintenance per product per year
We assume 2 FTE per platform per year for BSP, drivers, and long-term support
Maintenance FTE equivalent
–
Full-time engineers your maintenance load requires each year.
Annual maintenance cost
–
At fully loaded cost. Engineering capacity going to keeping the platform alive rather than building product.
Estimated saving with ROSA
–
Based on typical ROSA customer outcomes. The exact figure depends on your stack and migration path.
Rough estimates based on industry averages. Not a commitment. Talk to us for a number specific to your situation, or see how an engagement starts.
Adoption
New product, from scratch
Clone the devcontainer, target your hardware, and build on a stable foundation from day one. ROSA generates the scaffold from your product model; your team adds the application logic. What prototypes on dev hardware ships to production without a rewrite.
Existing codebase, from where you are
Pick the product or variant where the pain is highest and migrate that one. The rest stays untouched. ROSA wraps existing code rather than replacing it, so domain knowledge stays in the codebase. Migration is a direction, not a big-bang project.
Either way: the second product costs less than the first.
